Shut out from the baseball playoffs
We aren't getting any of the first round major league baseball playoffs on television here since they are all on TBS in the states, and MCV doesn't have a TBS feed. The 1:00 and 4:00 NFL games weren't on this weekend because AFN, which supplies the game, did some kind of Direct TV "Inside the 20 yard line" feed MCV can't use. They show games with teams with the ball inside the 20. This problem should be fixed this weekend I was told by MCV. The NFL has an internet package for the games for international residents, but they won't allow us to buy it because we are a U.S. Commonwealth. I have a bad feeling the internet baseball package is the same. This all absolutely stinks for me as a sports fan. Getting a new Taco Bell, as the sign by the KFC near Payless Supermarket announces, doesn't console all that much, but at least Mark McDonald, a freak for the Bell, will be happy.

I feel your pain, if from the other side of the fence. All we have is tnt and that runs three days late. I may have to journey to the embassy and see if they have a connection. My family in Maine will be a mess by the time the sox are finished with the west coast team. Unless of course they sweep, but we are talking THE BOSTON RED SOX. (creative caps courtesy of A. Bennet)
Nothing to do with baseball.. just wanted to tell you I love my new moniker!
Are you serious? We're really getting a Taco Bell? If so, you have made my week. I'm so excited I can't stand it! Any idea when they open?
How am I supposed to watch the Yanks beat the Sox?
I'm more concerned with the Indians right now, as you ought to be. 1-1 in the 8th, and very necessary for the yankees game 2.
Indians now 2 games to 0 against the Yanks. I guess I won't see them play the Sox.
Joe Torre for United States Senate.
