To the anonymous and obnoxious, you're not welcome here

After Angelo blocked anonymous comments on his blog after endless trolls appeared there, one of those wingnuts registered as Silly Socrates and then presumably Pragmatic Plato. I'm guessing there is only one person interested in Greek Philosophy, alliteration and a pretty empty blog. He is posting comments distorting my positions to the point of absurdity. If you care about what I think, read this blog, not this clown. His comments are too illiterate and ridiculous to post or waste my time debating, so I trashed them and will continue to do so. I think Boni learned that lesson last week. Brad is still not busy enough to learn. I'm not giving these people a forum here, so if your purpose is to annoy and be a putz, post your thoughts on your own blog. I've had enough of anonymous blowhards. If you want to make a sincere, honest, serious comment under a pseudonym, go ahead. I've probably had well over 2,000 comments on my blog, and I've deleted three in history, all because they were designed to be obnoxious toward me personally. Two were this week, and all three were anonymous. It's spillover from what is happening at Middle Road. Say what you want about me, but you're not doing it here.

The purpose of this guy, like most of the anonymous crowd, is not debate but simply to aggravate, so I'm not arguing with these people or providing them a forum for their games. I hope and request no one defends me against this guy. Let them all build their own audience, which requires more effort. None of the anonymous blogs have had much success other than Middle Road, and we know who they are, so it's not all that anonymous. For those who cry censorship, let me remind what that word means: The Government restricting what you say. I'm not the government, I'm not required to give people a platform, and you are completely free to say what you want in your own blog. I'm protecting my blog, which is my property, from becoming the circus I see in other places.

And for anyone who still thinks it's ok to do the anonymous thing, this dickless turd is out there trashing my name while hiding in the bushes like a coward. That's why the whole anonymous thing is unfair. He gets to trash my name and hide in the weeds like the vermin he is. And memo to said turd, nothing stays secret long in a place this small.

No respectable newspaper in the world publishes anonymous letters to the editor, and I've already laid out the rules here on this topic. If absurd debates with anonymous sources attacking real bloggers are your thing, go to Middle Road. It won't be happening here.

Actually, that is not a complete definition of the word censorship.

I deleted your comment long ago and don't have a copy anymore or I would give it to you.

You need to read what I wrote again, and stop trying to distort like Karl Rove or something. I've already come out against the Iraq War here:

http://turbittj.blogspot.com/2007/05/religious-extremists-arent-worth.html

I said governments provide corporate welfare, here, there and everywhere, so why be surprised that this is happening with this casino. You're either too dumb to get that, or just don't care. Either way, you're not sincere, so it's not worth debating you anymore, and I'm not publishing your comments anymore, including your last one. Put it on your blog. Repeat.

I'm not promoting your blog here, either. If it's worth a damn, people will find it. Given the fact that you never posted anything in the months since you registered, and all you have are ravings about me, I'm not too optimistic.

This is the last I have to say to you.

You are dead to me, boy.

If I submit a column to a newspaper and they don't publish it, they didn't censor me, they made an editorial decision, boonieman. I can stand on the street and wail, put it on the internet, buy an ad, leaflet my neighbors, etc. No one is owed a platform, especially when you're an idiot like this guy.

He has his own soapbox now, a riveting blog dedicated to some delusion that I support the Iraq War and how me keeping his BS off my blog is censorship ruining his life -- should be blogger gold.

I've been waiting for my first anonymous internet stalker psychopath.

I think it is funny that people here think that they are being censored when the newspapers edit their letters. That happens with every paper in the states.

I'm pleased to see some civility being enforced on these blogs. Kudos!

Not sure what you mean. Don't think so.

oops, sorry! guess i just read it wrong then!

b.o.t.

i dont think it's censorship either. your blog, your editorial perogatives. you decide which posts are relevant, which are off base (like my previous one), and which are garbage-posts.

relevant discourse > random, bs blog-garbage anyday. it's what keeps me coming back to this blog regularly.

Oh yeah, referenced the wrong guy, see what you mean. Was referring to the first comment, lil hammerhead.
