Blogger etiquette

Steve Woodruff was kind enough to give me a new write up on his overview of the blogosphere. Blogger etiquette requires me to do the same.

In a world where lawyers have the esteem usually reserved for child molesters or sophists in Ancient Greece, Steve is a lawyer I genuinely admire for his unwavering support of contract workers. As a blogger he describes himself as someone who doesn't teach writing. Steve's "never dull or prissy" blog is a celebration of free speech as long as it isn't the "offensive or annoying" kind that offends his sensibilities -- such as when people poke fun at cold movie theaters, the poor quality of Subway sandwiches or the confusion haoles face when they encounter eyebrow talking. Steve enjoys the "lively" blog of lil hammerhead, the inspirational musings of an alleged woman who found an outlet for her anger over long term unemployment by channeling that rage into obsession about every statement made by a bar owner, a teacher and an environmentalist who won't pay enough attention to him/her or help him/her escape his/her desperately lonely world. Steve links to links of Japanese girls engaged in group sex, and is reviled by "thousands" of people who protested federalization.

Anger over long term unemployment and channeling that rage into a blog attacking others. She sounds A LOT like Greg Cruz. Maybe her husband is Greg Cruz.

I agree she sounds a lot like Cruz, but I don't think she's a she. You'd have to comb through a lot of trailer parks to find a woman who acts like that. It's a dude.

Dude looks like a lady.

Who's obsessing now?

Tit for tat, Ken. He's a bully and a gutless coward who has gotten away with it for a while. Unlike him, I don't plan on his musings to become a regular feature.

Steve belongs to that group of people that have read our blogs in their entireties.

LOL.

I should come up with an equally intelligent response, but will leave it for another day. I have other priorities at the time.

Thanks for the favorable words, though, and I have to say the remainder is an interesting caricature.

Regarding your views on lil_hammerhead, do you have actual information on this individual's identity or employment status? For my part, I have not yet seen anything to cause me to question lil's self-identification of gender.

Any further observations on the relationship between lil', yourself, Saipan blogger, and the Bait-man will have to await another time.

She lied about her age and she lied about her name, so I'm speculating she lied on the sex thing. She's already admitted to the long term unemployment.

She's also the reason the PAWS blog doesn't have comments anymore. Lil sent some extreme emails and comments to Katie when she was having some big fight with Bruce Bateman over some animal issue because PAWS had Bruce's picture in a publicity photo, so Katie cut off comments completely rather than deal with this attention deprived crackpot. Apparently in lil's warped world, PAWS is just about getting your name in the paper, not helping animals. Anyone who knows Katie knows what horeshit that is.

I just keep the nut out of here. She has her blog to distort my pictures and obsess over my every statement and how awful I am -- strangely when 95 percent of what I say she is in agreement with. Anyway, like Katie, I blog for fun, not to bring the mentally unstable into my life because they have a mere internet connection.

All three of us have pretty much ignored her, but she's a coward and a bully hiding in the shadows, and sometimes the best way to deal with cowards and bullies is to slap them in the mouth.

You looked pretty good upside down with the steam coming out of the ears. I miss the warm and fuzzy days myself, but times are tough. Sometimes the tough get going, at other times, the weird comes out. I'm focusing on the warm and fuzzy stuff as much as possible. Deece has some great stuff these days, comment on glens jokes. How about Missy and her little tree hugger. Not that I expect anyone to take up knitting, but focus on the positives rather than the issues which are beyond control. That would be a long list; ... Screw the anons anyway. Mark Scease

You forgot about her/his tirade on the evils of allowing Ronald McDonald to encourage kids to read during a school assembly. Went so far as to say I was "narrow minded." Are you freakin' kidding me?! Closest I came to not wanting to read blogs anymore. (Thanks to those who reassured me she/he was the crazy one and not me!)
