Ad space available on this blog

I'm about to jettison Google Ads for my own Saipan ads, whether it be local Saipan business ads, political ads or whatever advertising is desired by the community, and they will run through me, not Google or anything. This is designed for real CNMI businesses that want to get the word out, and this blog won't have internet spam advertising for Viagra and other assorted nonsense like that. This blog attracts a literate, computer savvy audience, and more than 2,500 unique, mostly Saipan, visits per month and growing every month, with an average visit length of almost 8:00 minutes, which is very high for blogs and the internet in general. Including reloads, 5,000 plus a month visit this blog. The prices will be reasonable, and I'd be interested in working with other active bloggers on this business endeavor. Email turbittj@yahoo.com for more information.

There are some Garment workers, now unemployed with offices in and under downtown Garapan that might use your advertising services. They need that new Mobile Advertising technology. The one that goes with Curb Service and a dingleberry instead of a blackberry.

Not a bad idea.

You're "selling out". Once you run local advertising, you put yourself in a position where you are less likely to be critical of those particular advertisers. This is especially true if the bucks are "rolling in".

Both cheeks or just one? I wonder who gets more hits, Jeff's blog or...

ha ha ha..boni you crack me up!

So is virtually every media outlet on the planet selling out?

The reason that won't work is that I'll delete it, like that obnoxious putz formerly above.

Brad Ruszala said...

i don't see any deleted posts. what's up?

The answer to your question Jeff is, "Yes". That's the only "straight" news comes from PBS and the BBC. But the "sell out" problem is exacerbated in a local community, where your advertisers are limited, more readily affected by bad local press and more likely to discontinue advertising. Companies need big media, so that provides a little rope for news editors, but not a whole lot.

I don't buy that. Even those places have government funding, and piss off the government enough and guess what happens, especially in this government.

I've been attacking this government, that I indirectly work for, pretty much since I got here. If I'm all sold out, there are other blogs you can peruse.

I didn't mean to be belittling. I meant to make an honest point. My apologies if you felt I somehow slighted your blog.
