Enough said

Several have thrown their hat in the ring already, but none can hold the claim of being Saipan's Number One Bat Shit Crazy Haole. Bruce declared his candidacy last week with a central promise not to ever vote. Straight from the drunken face of evils' mouth, here it is: "I am planning to join the pack and run for the new Non Voting Delegate seat in November. I will run on a simple one-plank platform: I shall not vote! As your non-voting delegate it is my blood oath to you that “I-will-not-vote”. Come hell or high water, even if they hold me down and try to make me, I will abstain from voting."

Check back for more on the waving campaign in Tanapag.

I may resign but I will not vote!

My prediction was that no less than 8 people will be on the ballot in November.

Mike Ernest said...

No fewer than 8.

I could be wrong, though.

Hey now, Mike admitted to the possibility of being wrong at least one more time than Bush has.

Won't harm the troops. They fight so you can remain free to butcher the English language.

Or not. I could be wrong.

I think the number will escalate to close to 20. 10 have already begun the candidate validation process.

You've got a lot of comments on the English language, Mike. Are you pining to join our ranks?

Mike Ernest said...

What ranks? Bastardizers of English?

Jeff said...

No. The sane.

Hey, don't be so hard on Republicans. They gave us the Antiquities Act in 1906.

Mike Ernest said...

And the Civil RIghts Act. And freed the slaves, and basically all that is good and right in the world.

Angelo Villagomez said...

Like Watergate, Iraq, and the Great Depression.

Thanks, Hoover! Nice dam.

Jeff said...

The Civil Rights Act. Huh?

Angelo Villagomez said...

Well, Johnson was from Texas.

Unlike the RepubliCrats the All Night Party is above all this political backbiting and infighting.

As true friends of the people we are selflessly committed to helping you to help us help oursevlves to whatever is out there.

Mike Ernest said...

Yep. Pretty sure Gore's Democrat daddy voted against it, and Senator Byrd was too busy at a klan meeting to vote. I could be wrong, though.

Prediction...The same amount of people running for Non Voting Delegate as the amount of HOuse initiatives that comes out of Legislature and Senate.

Anonymous said...

Oh and that number will be 15.

Did you see his photo in today's Tribune?

Jeff said...

No I didn't. The real question is whether he would vote in committe, which delegates are allowed to do.

Angelo Villagomez said...

The photo in the Tribune today was brilliant.

Bruce A. Bateman said...

Why certainly, Jeff, I will confab and confound and vote and blow smoke and lean back tapping my cheek knowingly in my taxpayer funded leather chair whilst attending those fabled committee meetings. I'll also cut us some hot ass deals in those smoke filled chambers.

But you won't catch me actually representing my constituents by casting a real vote when it really counts. No sir, not me. You’ve got my word on it.

Thanks for the kind words, Angelo. I was an Apache in an earlier incarnation.
