More ethnic scapegoating and a mea culpa

Last February when Stanley Torres was putting up a fight against some of the worst Fitial proposals, I included him as my best legislator in my Saipan Superlatives. That was a big mistake, as this demagoguery and race based invective makes clear. I feel pretty confident Tina will take that mantle, which I'm leaving empty for now. As the economy gets worse, I expect more ethnic scapegoating George Wallace style, as is the mode for Greg Cruz today, which needs no retort. Its ignorance speaks loudly enough!
